4 Song EP "HOLDCELL" 6/22/07 |
The tracks for this EP were recorded during the same sessions as the album "7 Heavy Grins". It was decided early on that only 12 songs would be selected for the album. When the scheduled release date for the album came and it was not finished, a decision was made to release this EP with two songs that would also be on the album "Holdcell" and "King" along with two that were held from the album, "Poon Train" and "Roll On So Long".

Debut 12 Song Full Length Album "7 Heavy Grins" 11/16/07 |
The tracks for this album were recorded at Sonica Recording Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Pre-production began in December of 2006 and recording began in earnest on February 16, 2007. It was estimated to be completed by the beginning of the following June, although the band and the Producer John "Johnny B" Briglevich had agreed from the beginning, that the project would not be rushed or shortcut in any way. A total of 14 songs were recorded and tracking for the project was completed by the end of July, 12 songs were chosen for the album and it was then mixed in September by Aaron Thomson at Absolute Studios also in Atlanta. The final mix was then handed off to legendary Hall of Famer, engineer/producer Rodney Mills for mastering in October making almost a year for the completion. Few will ever know the labor and struggles that went into the making of this album. It was long, hard and expensive. There was blood, there was sweat, and there were tears. We poured our hearts and souls into these recordings. Suffice it to say that, if it were not a labor of love, we would have given in to the temptation to say "it's good enough" and released a run of the mill offering that come a dime a dozen these days. But as you will hear when you listen to this body of work, this is indeed a gem. We are very proud of our effort and are confident that you will be pleased with our work. "Rock it like a doctrine."
